Web 3.0 is all about openness, whether it is the application programming interface or open platform, Web 3.0 is going to be more open and transparent. It is going to be about open identity and reputation on the Internet. Web 3.0 will empower users to change the applications in the way they want to feel. Web 3.0 is going to be about integration of technology into human life.

This is in contrast of today’s Web where the user has to look and search for content. Web 3.0 is about creating a virtual world with each user having his identity in the form of avatars.
